Wonderland Stay Alive in the Park

Stamina, shared lives, and the hunters that punish a full sprint.

How to Survive

Most Wonderland wipes are not mystery lore. They are an empty stamina bar, a teammate who treated three lives as twelve, or a sprint into Wonder’s hearing range. This guide is the defensive half of the wiki. How to escape is the offensive half. You need both.

ScaryPlay shipped a park that looks like a playground and times like a chase game. The device in the final trailer tracks a timer and three lives. Those lives belong to the squad, not to your portrait. Solo still has three. Five players still have three. If that sentence is new, read it twice before you board.

Stamina is a third resource

Sprint drains the bar. Walk refills it. Standing still is a poor recovery plan compared with a controlled walk toward the next cover. The habit that wins chases is ugly: short bursts, then walk even when your hands want to hold sprint. Arrive at a new room with enough bar to leave it.

Never dump the bar to “explore faster.” Exploring on zero is how you meet a hunter and donate a life. The controls tool is the platform-specific version of this paragraph. The long form of the walk-and-life rules lives on stamina and shared lives. This page is the chase rule.

Shared lives change manners

A player who dies twice on a joke jump has spent the run. That is not a personality quirk; it is the economy. Before the coaster, say the number out loud. During the run, call “two left” like you would call a last magazine. Co-op assigns who scouts. Survival is why that assignment exists.

Heals from the Wonder Shop — Bandaid and Bandaid Box on the community price list — are how you protect the pool without being perfect. They cost Tickets. Tickets come from puzzles. Survival, income, and progress are one knot.

Hunters that write your stamina rules

  • Wonder keys on sprint noise in dim midway space. Walking past Wonder is a real strategy. Sprinting into a dead end is a lost life. Details on named threats.
  • Mr. Sun telegraphs with carnival distortion and flicker, then speeds up later. Corners beat a Hammer. Do not treat him like a simulator boss.
  • Wander owns maze and obby air. Fake exit sounds are a trap. Confirm on a Map.

Other toys on the creature roster are still being named. Some may help. Observe for a beat before you spend the bar fleeing a friendly. The monster tier list is the danger ranking while official names catch up.

Chase grammar

Break line of sight. Do not run a long straight if a corner exists. Do not vault an obby at a sprint if the landing is unseen — Wander’s yard is full of those landings. If a mini-game is the escape from a script, stop kiting and solve. The park will not give you a cleaner arena.

Lures and Trumpets spend Tickets to move attention. They are survival tools when used on purpose and noise pollution when used as toys. Rank them on the shop item tier list and price them on the planner.

Inventory that keeps you breathing

Map first. Stopwatch when the run is deep and a timer is the threat. Radio when the stack splits. Wonder Dust is a short speed burst — a panic button, not a travel habit. Wander Mask and Wonder Mask are information and stealth; they are expensive and worth it only if you already understand the hunter they counter.

Combat is what you do when hiding failed. Survival is how often you can avoid opening that page.

Reset habits after a wipe

Failed runs teach the shuffle, not a route. Write down which tell killed you: empty bar, shared life, fake door, sprint noise. Open the matching sibling guide. Redeem any leftover code in the next lobby so Gems are not the reason you rushed. Then walk to the first puzzle like it is cover, because it is.

Wonderland launched on 14 August 2026. These rules are launch-week rules. If a patch changes stamina regen, what’s new will say so. Until then, walk more than your pride wants.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many lives do I have in Wonderland?

Three lives for the whole squad. Solo and five-stacks use the same pool.

Does stamina recover while I stand still?

Walking is the recovery you should plan around. Do not empty the bar to travel.

Why do I die when I sprint in indoor areas?

Wonder can home in on sprint noise. Walk those midways unless the lane is clearly empty.

What should I buy to survive longer?

Information first (Map), then heals, then a tool that matches the hunter you keep meeting. See the shop tier list.
