The Wonderland Launch
Two years of quiet, a 16+ rating scare, and a park that finally opened.
Wonderland did not launch on the first date the internet printed. If your friend still says 8 August, they are reading a page that did not refresh. This is the clean timeline, plus the scams that grew in the gap. The mid-article video is a delay-week breakdown of the release animation and the rating problem. It is context, not a walkthrough. 2024 — the first look
ScaryPlay showed a park, attractions, puzzles, and Mr. Sun. Then the channel went quiet for a long time. That silence is why clone experiences had room to pretend they were the real sit.
Early August 2026 — the final trailer
The official final trailer (embedded on Getting Started) showed Mr. Sun speaking, the Wonder Shop, NPCs, a timer device with three lives, and a Minigun. It also pointed at a same-week launch on all platforms. Community events listed 8 August in several time zones.
8 August 2026 — the pull
About an hour before a rescheduled go-live, Roblox’s moderation path rated the experience 16+. ScaryPlay’s public line was that they wanted the game available to everyone, not locked behind that gate. The sit did not happen. Discord filled with screenshots. Creators recorded delay videos. Copycats sold “early access” that the real team never offered.
There is no paid early access. There was not one on the 7th, the 8th, or the 14th. If a page still sells it, it is a clone. Use official links.
9–13 August — the new promise
ScaryPlay pointed at 14 August and said, in community posts, that they did not intend another slip once the rating path was clean. Players waited. Some guides froze on “no codes” because the game was not out. Those guides are now wrong.
14 August 2026 — live
Wonderland opened on mobile, PC, and console together. The lobby, the coaster, the shop, the shared lives, and the randomised park were the launch product. Visits climbed into the millions within the first day. The experience description still warns about flashing lights, loud noise, and jumpscares, and still asks you to join the ScaryPlay group for rewards.
15 August 2026 — RELEASE26
The first public code landed: RELEASE26 for 100 Gems. Redeem steps are on how to redeem. The codes hub is the live table. Any article dated before launch that says codes do not exist is a time capsule.
What the delay changed about the wiki
We write as a released game. We do not tease a countdown. We do not list 8 August as the ship date. We do list it as the date that taught the community to ignore lookalikes. The review exists because the park is playable, not because a trailer was pretty.
What did not change
No public Trello. No Mimic book select. No reason to memorise one hedge. What’s new is the page that continues this story when a real patch lands. Until then, play the 14 August park, walk more than you sprint, and leave when the gates allow it. The delay was a rating fight, not a missing game. The delay was a rating fight, not a missing game. Play the park that shipped.
